Bank Cottage Holiday Cottages are situated in the heart of Fenland and offer comfortable home-from-home retreats in idyllic Cambridgeshire countryside. The cottages are single storey making them ideal for the young, young at heart and everyone in between. Situated just 100 yards from the River Nene and surrounded by arable farmland, the environment is peaceful, the countryside flat and inviting and the whole transformed by the magical eternal sky sunsets the fens are famed for.
The accommodation suits couples and families for short breaks, holidays, business trips or even moving to the area. Relax in the pretty garden, enjoy a barbeque or explore the countryside. The local area enjoys very cycle-friendly terrain, a multitude of golf courses and close proximity to golf courses, a recreational airfield, steam railway and so much more.
Wren Cottage
Wren Cottage sleeps 4 people in a double room and a twin room. The large open plan reception room has a well appointed kitchen with full size appliances including fridge freezer, washing machine, cooker and microwave. The sitting and dining areas are fully and comfortably furnished for 4 and include a colour television with combination DVD/video player and radio cassette. The bathroom has an over-bath shower facility.
Owl Cottage
Owl Cottage sleeps 2 people in a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The large open plan reception room is appointed with the same high standard appliances as Wren Cottage and enjoys views out over the surrounding countryside together with a secluded seating area away from the main garden.
Both cottages have the use of a separate utility room containing a large tumble dryer and other household requisites. A travel cot and high chair are available AT NO EXTRA COST, subject to availability.
Outside, there is a pretty garden with seating and views over arable farmland and the river bank – a mere stone’s throw away, from where you can walk along the bridleway to the next village.
